We were just talking about that,it was a poxy pre-season game in Austria,he asked me to go,he had a shit car and there was no way I was going. 😂
Just saw that the title of this part of the Forum had been changed to the Blaze Non-Football Forum and I realised who it was you had been talking about on X. I very rarely come onto this part of the forum and it is a shock. I have only known Blaze through this forum and I have seen him posting here and there about Swans related stuff up to recently.

In regards to that Austria Trip, Blaze got annoyed with me because I made some tongue-in-cheek comments about him being the only Jack out there. I think the tour was announced very last minute. I remember something to do with the club or the players really happy to see the one Jack B*st*rd out there. I also remember vaguely a story about a dog in Townhill? Not 100% sure what that was now.

I also remember Blaze hadn’t missed a match for ages and ages and he made it to Sheffield United in the snow. Did he sleep in his car or something? I think that was the match that defeated Matt The Jack and Lisa because the coaches had to turn round?

Anyway Blaze has been a longtime part of this forum and I am gutted he is not with us anymore. I remember that he was a talented guy in terms of IT. We will miss you Blaze.

I also realise why I don’t visit their part of the forum often, I can see our Dar starts most of the threads. Like the thread about no loyalty in football, on the football board 🫣

I mentioned the Sheffield United game earlier in the thread Big T.

I haven’t had chance to read through it all yet. It was a shock. I can see why you were so gutted about it in the week. I will read through it when I get chance. 😔

I haven't been on Jackarmy for years. Used to always be active on this back in the day! I joined today just to post in this thread.

I still can't believe the news. I was quite close with Blaze in 2009/2010 and then we drifted but spoke a few times in recent years.

It doesn't seem real that he's gone! Reading the tributes to him earlier got me really emotional.

I always remember how obsessed he was with the Swans - rain, shine or even snowy conditions and he was there! He would even attend reserve games. That's how dedicated he was. A shame he didn't really attend games in recent years but life goes on and it seemed like he found a passion that he really enjoyed and was slowly becoming successful in. I'd always see him promoting it on his facebook.

He was a lovely guy and my heartbreaks for his family and everyone that knew him.

It's sad that his demons took over him and he felt he couldn't seek help - I'm sure anyone would have helped him in a flash. Hopefully he is at peace now.

RIP Blaze x

Welcome back, LP.

How very sad and tragic this all is.

Reading between the lines I believe that I’ve managed to get the gist of what has happened.

When someone passes it’s devastating for all those that are nearest and dearest.

However, if someone goes unexpectedly in the most tragic of circumstances, it sends a shockwave through everyone.

My thoughts go out to all those who loved him dearly.

Fly high graceful Swan. RIP.

Back from hols and saw the thread title.
What a loss to the Jack Army family and my heartfelt condolences to all friends and family of Blaze.
RIP James

Oh man, haven’t posted on here for a while and saw the board title and the thread. Haven’t seen Blaze for ages but he was always there at every away game during the Jackett & Martinez days - remember him battling through to that Sheffield United game in the snow when the rest of us sacked it off! So sad to log on and see this news this morning, RIP James.
