• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Have a £10 investment in a trust fund in Cyprus which owns a Delaware company in the States via a company registered in the Netherlands. Would love to tell you who the other investors are boys but signed a confidentiality agreement. Looking forward to waving to the NE corner from the directors box next season. Up the Jacks!

This sort of nonsense is the logical conclusion of those sellouts putting us back “in play”. Breaking every promise they made.

We could end up owned by any shyster.

But at least we have a really strong Spporter's Trust to ensure the club's future..................oh

I still don't understand why they bought the club in the first place , the sellers must have been laughing at how naive they were , what's happened was entirely predictable , the only chance of getting their money back was a quick return to the premier league , they came close last season and now they can either soldier on or take a 40 million loss and sell , they will probably continue for now

It makes sense for the Americans to be selling. They have not enjoyed their ownership, and whilst they have managed to reduce their losses by taking profit I suspect they have gone as far as they can with that. It looks like a good time for them to get out. Sooner or later you have to cut your losses on a bad investment. No playoffs this season is the killer I think.

I can see how Rodrigues might be able to make money from running the Swans - essentially find young quality players who are not visible outside Brazil, put them into the Swans for visibility and increase value, then sell their contract into the PL. Might work, but yes this probably just silly season.

We can't sign players from Brazil unless they're internationals etc as they won't get a work permit. Brexit has also put the kibosh on signing Brazilians etc that have dual nationality / passports of an European nation such as Portugal.
The Brazilian kids that come over are getting younger every year.
Apparently our next signing is a keeper called Fetus.

We will see if there are any legs on this by first weekend of June

File under BS.
No substance to the story or the Brazilian's Millions...

I just noticed this, I don't login very often. You are quite right of course.

We’re signing Pele?

Could do a job. How much Viagra a week does he want in wages?
