• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I’d be confident if I was a Brentford fan after our performances against them so far this season

They were by some distance the best team I've seen down here this season. Other sides beat us because we were crap. Brentford just outplayed us. It may be the case that our new formation will make a difference, but we've got two tough games ahead of us.

Think the key will be have we learned anything from the two league defeats to Brentford !? I think we are stronger more organised and a little wiser since lockdown.

The timely improvement of our centre backs and a 5 backline suits us better .. They will attack us like Leeds did so we need quality supply to both Brewster and Ayew especially from wide areas. A preferable win would be good but a draw would do as our away form appears better.

Brentford fans are confident but not over confident

I'm concerned by a comment there from a Reading fan that we have 'a high defensive line that pacy forwards can get behind' which the Bees have in abundance.

As I live 3 miles from Griffin Park, are there any random acts of sabotage that I should carry out?

As we were in the 1997 play off v Northampton.

As it gets nearer, question for me is the mind set of Brentford. Gotta be doubts about whether they are as in a positive frame as before last weekend. If they are, we have it all to do. If not, couple that with how 'up' we must be after Weds, then it brings us very close together. They may feel they may have missed the boat, if so , then play as well as we can and we've a huge chance. But, should they show form of that before last weekend...its gonna be a struggle. Fascinating stuff however you look at it.

If this is accurate, Brentford have never been promoted via the play offs?

Ah, looks like they are bottlers - the nerves got to them for their last 2 games too - there is some hope for us then.
