We could probably go to £20k you'd think for a player of his quality? Always full of running, had a couple of very good seasons in this League and was in the team of the year.

Interesting one - player swaps rarely come off but Vydra plus say £2M would give it a certain appeal, particularly if Lowe is offski & at least one of Whittaker or Cullen likely to be out on loan.

I'm sure he appreciates the PL wages he'll be earning and I don't think for a second he was going to stay here on half the wages or whatever, but the comments BBC Sport have from him hardly sound enthusiastic about his new club:

"I’m here now and it’s a new challenge and something I really want to make positive and the only way I can do that is by playing well and giving absolutely everything when I get called upon."
