Did what you could. Thanks.

Relied too heavily on.

We had no choice, we was on a massive contract. If he's here, he plays. Now we can move on.

The amount of fanboys and girls on Twitter today saying “thank you André” is bizarre.
Thank you for what exactly? Thank you for earning a enough money to keep a small country ticking over and achieving fuck all.
People aren’t living in the real world anymore.

in footballing terms, he was brilliant for us the last two seasons. Without him we may well have faced a relegation battle.
In real terms, no sportsman is worth £1000 a week, let alone 10's of thousands.
How much would the likes of Ivor, Curt and Robbie be paid if they were playing today ? Easily equivalent to what Andre earned. Would you begrudge them ( in line with other sportsman's wages ? )
Football is something that gives people a small distraction from the real world.
Any way thanks Andre and all the best for the future.

We’ve achieved nothing and start from scratch in August.
Stop being a fanboy you’re in your seventies ffs.

Yes, he was outrageously overpaid for a championship player and has been nowhere near his best for the last 4-5 months like most of our players but there is no doubt in my mind that at times, he was carrying the team. Get a lucrative deal in Turkey, China or USA, Andre, then do something useful with your riches.

He may well have been carrying the team at times, but there are also entire games where he was nothing but a passenger including the final. There is also zero doubt in my mind that his wages prevented us from being able to sign two, three or maybe even four players that would have given the squad a better balance.

He didn’t force anyone to give him his contract.

Blame the nutters who did.

And brought him back in the first place. He is absolutely at the root of our problems. Not his fault, even though all the "I love Swansea" is a pile of infuriating steaming shit. " I love money" more like. I'm certainly not thanking him for taking us for 15m plus. He has not given us value and the millstone is gone, if too late. The test now is what we do next but I think we'd have been in much better shape now if his West ham failure had been the last we'd heard of him. The last two seasons were the absolute least he could do. And it was. The least. If he'd been arsed in more games including the final we might even have got promoted.

Fecking spot on

Fickle.

I remember questioning the love in for Ayew when he was coming back the second time. The east stand were erect at the prospect and were chanting his name continually. I was criticised. It's "pashun mun" was the usual response, you know the same retorts when Michu was accelerating his crippled ankles by booting the hoardings.

Ah well, let's hope we learn from our mistakes.

You'll find the better posters often have similar/same viewpoints. They tend to be of higher intellect.
