As no serious, established football manager or coach has agreed to take on the incredibly attractive and fantastically influential role of Swansea City FC top guy I wish to officially apply for the role!

My experience is lots and lots of knocking a ball about the playground at school in the 70s and 80s; a couple of games at Aber Uni for my hall, and then loads of watching football on the television since.

My expectations are £150k a year, and the untold realisation that I cannot sign anybody of any outstanding talent and cost and that may take our team to the 'next level'.

Perhaps we could share it around. Much like the BBC did when Angus Deayton left HIGNFY.

We already know you can certainly open doors for new player arrivals (with a remote I seem to remember)

You got a nice new Garage Door, so your credentials are all there for all to see

Before long we will be looking at Mickey Mellons again. Surprised Karl Robinson hasn’t come up either. Neither are up to it so probably would appeal to the Yanks. Surprised Landon Donavan hasn’t got one of his cronies in.

Bryn’s tactic will be the “up and over” instead of the “up and under”!

You'd be fine.

Just knick a goal and then close the garage doors and were safe.

The ex mother in law be a shout. Knows everything about everything and claims to know every fcker.

What we need is a manager who knows the club , lives in the area and has experience managing big clubs , ladies and gentlemen I give you

Garry Monk 😁

Considering that the extremely desirable role of Swansea City manager or coach, depending on your bent, has yet to be filled, I yet again offer my services.

I forgot to mention before that my experience extends to very nearly completing the Spain 82 World Cup Panini sticker album. More importantly I have extensive knowledge playing 'Football Manager' on the ZX Spectrum, sometimes for hours at a time when I should have been doing my school homework on a Sunday evening.

I am also a 'looker'. One for the ladies there.

Perhaps we could share it around. Much like the BBC did when Angus Deayton left HIGNFY.

Are you suggesting we give Martin Clunes, Jo Brand, Boris Johnson, David Tennant and Alexander Armstrong turns at managing our club? The pressers and post-match interviews would be interesting!

Er, not so much, but it would be interesting. I was suggesting that we'd share it around the armchair managers on here - there's a lot of people who reckon they could have done better than Cooper!
