• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Nevermik, baxk to beating Burton Albion

It was a valiant effort but to no avail in the end…sad.

Mid table at best. Davies, colwill, Bagan etc all proved they're not at any higher level. Lawlor on other hand will be in the prem.
Is that the Lawlor who gifted them the first goal with a Darling/Burgess pass out from the back straight to the Chelsea striker?

He was, but he is clearly very good for a 19 year old. I'd be surprised if he was there for long, particularly if they don't go up this year.

Agree in large with others though, although they've gone about it the right way with youth this season, they'll need big recruitment for next year should they go up, as their entire squad (bar the keeper) took them down last time

Apparently Craig Bellamy who has fast tracked Lawlor in to the Welsh set up was at a football forum event a few weeks ago and he was of the view Lawlor will be at a Premier League club by next summer. Remains to be seen if that’s the case, but Bellamy rates him.

I just couldn't bring myself to watch the turds.... It's bad enough watching them when they played us! 😂
