• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I'm all for free speech and the right to vote for whoever you want. But I would just say, watch what is happening in the US and think very carefully next time you have to put an X in the box

Your speech falls down where you used the word ‘think’. Unfortunately there are millions out there who believe anything their hero’s tell them and are unable to think.

Agreed and all the more reason to get going now while there is still a decent interval before our next GE

Senedd elections next year. Wales could be Patient Zero for the Reform experiment. They won’t win outright, may get close to being the largest party but no one with half a brain thinks anyone will go into coalition with them. But it’s a clear and present danger and there’s no point denying that.

Great film that was, one of Harrison Fords best films.

All those that say ‘they’re all the same’ as an excuse for not voting need to do their bit. If there was a 70% turnout none of us could have any complaints about who gets in.

I think voting should be modernised so it is spread over more than one day and there should be a right to vote for no candidate. If the "no candidate" gets the majority a neutral technocrat should be elected.

Agree on the first part , we should vote on weekends. Thursdays are an anachronism. Don’t agree on the second though. Due to the “they’re all the same” group we’d have a Parliament full of the technocrats you mentioned. That’s not democracy.

There is a distinct possibility of this.

It never ceases to blow my mind that your average valley person will vote Labour without a seconds thought. Hate Thatcher and Thatcherism with a passion.

Yet will vote for Brexit and Farage/Reform.

I mean you’re not allowed to say nasty things. But yeah they’re thick.
