If there wasn't a black or brown face left in the country, if the entire public sector were privatised, hell, even if we went back to Victorian workhouses, it wouldn't be enough to placate these people, they are pathologically unhappy and damaged people who will never be happy in their lives, they'll never be satisfied.

That is a large part of the reason Starmer is dying on his arse. In trying to out-racist Farage and Tommy and co on immigration, pandering to them, it's a game he isn't winning and will never win. Whatever ground you concede to these people, they will always be back for more.
