Stephen Colbert's show was cancelled because the network are going through a huge sale/merger and require government sign-off for it to go through.

Kimmel's show was dropped by the network's biggest regional affiliate (American TV structure is weird) who are also trying to get some big deal approved by the government.

It's the kind of horrendous government overreach and corruption that should horrify everyone, but half the population celebrates it because they are on the other side of the political divide (not saying it would be different if a more left-leaning government was doing the same to right-wing TV people of course).

Well I wasn’t really getting at Kirk but people think one person who made a sexist joke deserves to lose everything but someone calling for the death of other people is entitled to his opinion and deserves the world see.
The hypocrisy is staggering.
