Club Owners - Ambition

It was just an innocent question Doc, dont get so het up mate.

Send back Palmer and Gykores... Bring in a centre forward who can hopefully or knows how to score.

Not much ambition needed, common sense needed only.

Either way... spend or loan ! my question was about strengthening the squad and if the owners should at this point. Seems the question has added complication for you.

There's plenty of ways to show ambition without splashing money we don't have, something which any sensible Swans fan won't want us to do again.

A loan signing like Brewster showed ambition. A far more highly rated youngster than the likes of Gyokeres and I have to think we had to pay out to get him, whether loan fee or wages.

We are in a superb position, no need to panic! It is clear what we need and as proven last year with the Brewster signing that we don't need to spend much if anything.

It wouldnt worry me too much if come Feb 3nd we still had the same squad as we do today.... The foundation is solid and that has us in a good place, a striker signed doesn't guarantee goals but could also easily affect the status quo at present.

PS-Please add to the topic rather than picking faults, don't need melt downs because people can't control their shiite!

Why would we send back Palmer? He plays in most games and I am a fan.

I will give cooper the credit for knowing what he wants and what he can have plus who he doesn't want
I think were going to lose a few in this window

I do hope so Geoff, hes obviously been lumbered with two players he didnt want.

In his post match interview Cooper said there was no one coming in and he just hoped he could hang onto the players he has got.

Doesn’t suggest the owners are going to splashing the cash to me.

yeah lets tell everyone we have money to spend..that wont drive the price up

I’d be all in favour of the Yanks chucking a few dollars in if it’s a non-repayable loan as a gesture of goodwill with no strings attached. The kind of thing they’d do because of their deep love for the club. I’m not holding my breath mind. Anything else and they can feck off.

I’d like to keep Palmer. He’s shown that he can be very effective when he’s come on.

Given how Covid has ravaged finances throughout the leagues, I would be very surprised to see any clubs being very active in the transfer market.
