Club Owners - Ambition

The only ones on the board with any decision making authority are the majority owners. The sellers made sure of that when selling the club as they sold more than 75% of the voting rights along with 68% of the club itself.

And ?
Thankfully the trust hasn’t got much authority.

Exactly. Yet you apparently expect them to stump up for transfer fees. Silly boy.

No I don’t, because I know they haven’t got the money to stump up for transfers.

I do hope so Geoff, hes obviously been lumbered with two players he didnt want.

Why do you think he didn't want them?

He isnt giving them much if any gametime.

I'm certain palmer was his choice but not so much gyokeres.

You have to respect DGT in a perverse way. He keeps turning up for beatings like the ultimate masochist.

He’s an embarrassment. He’d be much more suited to following Crapdiff.

You can make that argument if you like, but ECB has already pointed out why it's nonsense.

If the majority owners don't put their own money in for new players, why should a minority shareholder without any influence over the running of the club be expected to do so?

And what money does the minority shareholder have ? Exactly the point I was making. Dead wood

If they're not being asked to put money in, why does it matter what they have? You seem very confused.

Tell me what is the point of asking the trust to contribute, when everyone knows they haven’t got money. Now the question is if the trust had £20 million in the bank, would they use some of that money to strengthen our promotion push, or would they play politics with the Americans. I’d imagine they’d play politics.

What are your thoughts on the club's previous owners (Jenkins etc) who invested none of own towards transfers then?

Do you expect the current majority owners to put their own money in then? And not expect anything back? How do we square that under FFP rules?

He's right about binning off bit part loan players unless we think they are better than we've seen so far though.

I'd send Gyokeres back and bring in someone who can add something to that area of the park

Depending on the injuries at the back then one more player there may be needed

Outside of that I'm not sure we need many other options, what is it about if it's not broke etc...

Is the phrase "if it's not broken, there's no harm in having a spare"? :D

What is the purpose of the trust ? I’d say to help the club move forward ( which they haven’t for a long time ) so all the the money that they have should always go back into the club, that is completely different to Huw Jenkins’s personal money.

In my opinion the Americans are doing a good job. The team is flying high this season, with a good manager, and I don’t expect them to spend money that takes us into conflict with FFP

The trust as a shareholder would be subject to all the same FFP rules as any other shareholder, so how do think they should invest?

Have you thought this through?
