Oh well, we hadn’t yet had our monthly drama. It seems it’s just starting.

I.e shit himself after the cock up in Jan and has walked

What names are being mentioned MD? Who did Coleman want?
Only name I have heard mentioned is Julien Stephan.

I haven't heard any names from Colemans preferred choice or any other directors choices.....just there has been a disagreement in regards to who wants whom.

Seems a bit drastic to get rid of him because of that though?

Will it be spun as if this was the plan all along? That he was always going to be a transitional chairman to bridge the two ownership groups?

I think the real reason behind him leaving is because he was useless.
One cannot fault his dedication, by all accounts he was determined to make the January window a success and after the people around him (who turned out to be all talk and no walk) let him down he reportedly worked himself into the ground to try to get some results in the window.

However as many have said, what he can be faulted for is being bad at his job. If he was a manager he would have been sacked a season ago. Indeed the people under him have paid the price for poor results while he had (until now) escaped those consequences.

Reports though are saying that the new boys on the board were far from impressed and he was given an ultimatum to either face a no confidence vote (that he wouldn't possibly win), to sell up or to step back voluntarily and remain on the board as a silent investor.
