• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

You should have done the full 90mins on the north bank when Kidderminster beat us 4-0 back in the day......and there were far worse days to that one to add to the list.

This place is all fairies and unicorns compared to that night.
I've done my fair share of going through bad times and good. Just don't feel the need to constantly look for the negatives or constantly look for attention.

Its a football forum buddy so you are going to find plenty of that on here.
Hopefully it gets better and positivity can return in regards the club.

It's a tough time at the moment for all us Swansea fans.

It's ridiculous to expect people not to discuss their views on signings / appointments on a football forum.

This Gorringe guy doesn't seem to have done particularly great at a pretty stagnant league 1 club. So I hope he can make the step up.

Happier with Montague appointment who has been working at a pretty progressive club on the up and has held a position high up in a successful football centric company also.

There is discussing views and there is spouting the same nonsense over and over.

First time I discussed Gorringe and you had a meltdown!
I seem to get under your skin. I think it's clear that we have history previous to this username you are using currently going by most of your posts towards me.

No meltdowns here, neither have you got under my skin.

We've not had previous as I've not had any other username than the one I currently post under.

I'm just bored with you constantly talking bollocks and stoking up negativity for the sake of it.

Let's leave it at that, I think I've made my feelings perfectly clear.

What nonsense has been spouted here then? All that was posted was a link to a Bristol Rovers forum to give us an insight into his work there.

Most swans fans for example speak warmly of Birch, but say if Coleman were to become a chairman of another club now, I'm sure fans of that club would want to try and find out how he did here and not be very impressed.

If only it was posted to give us "insight".

Well that's what it is. You can make your own mind up whether the Bristol Rovers fans comments are positive or negative.
I'll wait for him to settle in to his role before I make my judgement not after reading some Bristol Rover forum.

Out of interest, if we'd appointed the current Man City or Barcelona CEO would you express your opinion then or would you still say, "let's see how he does?"
