Cooper gone

Shows that as expected, there has been a breakdown between the Cooper and Winter.

As much as I wasn't a big fan of Cooper. I wish him every success in his career going forward.

I don’t, I hope he ends up fucking up Cardiff.

Its crazy how someone who got us 2 consecutive play off finishes is hated as much as he is. Potter had a better squad and didn't get close

Are you a new fan, or scummer on a wind up?

Saying he got backed in the market is simply delusional. If that's backing a manager then the next guy might better strap himself in

How you can say he wasn’t backed is baffling, do you not count loan signings as fees and expenses payed to Premier League clubs?

Would you want us in 80M debt like Stoke? Come on, because we don’t spend 3/4/5M on one player doesn’t mean he isn’t backed.

Nope, just new to the forums. Why? Do you not think Potter's squad was better?

Please ... the loan players were all successes, we paid pitence for them. If he was backed we would have signed a ball playing CB and a decent striker in January, don't mention Jordan Morris, what a joke. Bambi with a recent ACL injury. Great signing. The clubs pushing for promotion spending 5m isn't too much, we have spent less than 2m and don't plan on spending any more. Short memories about the club, owners still siphoning cash and all of a sudden its forgetting. Crazy. Don't forget DC getting a new 50m training ground and sending their player our way to free up their wages.

In the championship you can state that it was marginally better, but it was marginal.. if you're comparing Potter to Cooper, Potter was so far and away better than Cooper with an actual idea to what he wanted his team's to produce, Cooper's ideals were built on negative, relying on players individual attributes to push through his output of results before substance and relied heavily on shape.. he basically sent out his players out to not make mistakes, Potter was the opposite, he held himself responsible for his players mistakes, Cooper was all me, me, me.. honestly, Potter was light years ahead in the modern game than Coops, hence why he's in the Prem

younger and with more potenital, I genuinely believe Potter wouldve got us promoted in the last 2 seasons, and theres a reason Potter was offered a prem job while Cooper couldnt even get a job above Vieira at a complete rebuild at Palace

I think Cooper was worried that he couldnt rely solely on Ayew to score the team goals, and that hed have to actually have us playing football

Im genuinely excited about a possibility of a young new fresh manager with new ideas coming in, worked well in the past with Martinez, Rodgers and Potter

Graham Potter was 43 when we appointed him and had 7 years management experience. Fresh young manager be fkd.

Who took Ostersunds to incredible heights and had interesting techniques off the field
Whod never managed in a proper league and played the correct way

Did you watch Coopers England U17 side?

The loan players were all a success but Morris, a loan player, was a joke!
Woodman - did OK but didn't make much if any progress.
Gibbs White was decent and had a couple of good games and moments.
Guehi was backed but it 12 months to get up to speed.
Gyökeres was a success in what way?
Palmer was a success … when he was recalled by Bristol.
Hourihane .. seriously?
Arriola was outstanding in which games.
None were cheap and none represent an asset to us.
TBF It's difficult to be a success when the manager doesn't play you.

OK then ... coopers loans were all successful. Not the rest of the bunch ...
Woodman, overall success
Guehi, our best defender
Gibbs-white, our best player for about 3 games, injured and recalled to play for wolves

None of the others were cooper signings

Arriola was forced on us and recovering from ACL
Morris was a desperate one to sign a striker who turned out to not be a striker and recovering from ACL
Bristol didn't want Palmer and he was identified as being lazy before joining, cheap one for the club
Hourihane while not outstanding was our best attacking midfield player (Dhanda off the rails) ill give the club that, not a completely bad one.
Gyokeres don't even know why we bothered there, although he has turned out good for Coventry they seem happy.

How were they cheap? Maybe the club should have invested in permanent signings alongside cooper's additions then, instead of signing the likes of Palmer, Hourihane, Morris, Arriola et al

Who didn't he play?
