Corbyn...

Starmer is the first labour leader since Blair that looks electable, he has to get votes from the south of England , the sooner labour and the libdems combine into one party the better

Is Margaret Hodge lying about this abuse Ebo or does she deserve it? Which is it to be?

labour membership numbers more than doubled in the summer of 2015. Many of the new members were anti semites drawn to Labour to support Corbyn because they saw him as being on the same page. Those new members added to a culture of antisemitism that radicalised existing members into believing increasingly more radical racist conspiracy theories. I saw it with my own eyes at Labour meetings and it’s why I stopped going.

Ace you are talking absolute nonsense. The influx of new members were socialists coming back to the party and thousands of young people.

The vast majority of newcomers into the party were people over the age of 50 who loved to tell us how much young people loved Corbyn despite there not being much evidence to back up this claim. Ironic that a majority of the parties young members voted for Owen Smith in the 2016 leadership challenge

Trampie posts an utterly irrelevant comment piece from the Indy from 5 years ago and an uncorroborated article from a fake news blog which is run by a famous and notorious antisemite. So you've gone with "she deserves it". Vile cunt you are Tramp.

The only vile person is you AceJack, those are well known stories involving Hodge, you should be banned for using such foul language, I'm sure you directed the same language towards me on the other site, have you anger issues or something ?

Some of the high profile complainers against Corbyn often have tons of baggage.

This kind of bollox is such a bad look for Labour. For most of us non Corbyn cultists, irrespective of who we vote for, it just looks wrong. An independent investigation has concluded there were serious issues within the Labour party. They (and their supporters) need to own that and work doubly hard to address the problems, not engage in whataboutery and slur tactics to attack anyone who dares question magic grandpa.

Here is another source Leon (and various other stories for AceJack from different sources).

It's good for the team I vote for (I treat politics like my sports teams) that Labour are painted as anti Semitic, Communists, terrorist sympathisers and they are going to wreck the economy, but I don't believe it to be the case on any count, there maybe the odd bad egg in every party particularly a huge party like Labour but it's a nonsense the way they are portrayed.

I'm not really that bothered tbh. It just looks really bad when Labour supporters are tearing into each other and it will be turning a lot of casual and floating voters away. And they're the people Labour need to win back if it's going to challenge this corrupt and inept government we now have. Personally, I don't think you counter accusations of abuse with whataboutery (even if it's true). It doesn't absolve the party of the antisemitism findings against it.

My position on it has always been to wait to see what the EHRC came out with and not get drawn into any slanging matches (I don't have a team in politics; I think we should continually judge politicians by their actions). And the Commission's report isn't a good outcome for Labour. Of course, they and their supporters can fight the outcome of the report and anyone who dares criticise them, that's their choice. I'm not sure it's the right decision, but we'll find out at the polls at some point.

The thing is how independent were the investigators they apparently are not investigating Islamaphobia in the Conservative party, their own record as regards redundancies in their own organisation as regards who got laid off doesn't look good.
Also the CEO and the Chairman at the time of investigating Corbyn seemed to have far more in common with Corbyns opponents shall we say than Corbyn.

I completely agree about the Tories and Islamophobia, but again that's more whataboutery :)

I don’t have anger issues, I’ve just got no interest in being nice to people who think they can explain away or justify antisemitic abuse, which is exactly what you’re doing.

You do have anger issues, you have done it before, there is no justification for your abuse (or anti-Semitic abuse where it exists).
