• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Should the club extend the early bird deadline.
Due to the current situation regrading Covid etc, maybe the club should think about extending the deadline.
A number of fans who sit around me are thinking of not renewing before Jan 31st because they are worried about covid impacting next season. They may have a better idea of the situation by the end of March, but they are not prepared to pay the price increase.
Before anybody has a go at me, I have already renewed mine. Just passing on the views of a number of fans.

I'm not sure extending it until March will make a difference - there will always be the possibility of variants, changes and things but we need to learn to live with it. AFAIK ST renewals is still 31st March so they will know by then (using the arguments they are having) but they just need to pay a little more so effectively thats the cost to them of certainty.

I haven't renewed yet but thats largely as I dont attend the number of games I used to so I am weighing up whether its cost effective for me to renew. I suspect I will as I have had this debate for a few years now (even back to the PL years)
