Took my Father in Law for his Covid jab yesterday, arrived a bit early so anticipated a wait, nobody there no queues and we went straight in. The receptionist told me that they had at least 200 people fail to show for appointments that week.

Surely people have not been taken in to this extent by the anti vax era of this world? I am not on FB is this a thing on social media now?

I went for a flu jab on Monday and was hoping to get a Covid one at the same time but found out that there is actually something I'm not old enough for as I'm 18 months too young for the Covid one which is only free for 75 & over. Was told I could have one for £94 though! 😵‍💫 😵‍💫😵‍💫. Got a pneumoccal jab in few weeks time.

I had the flu jab a few weeks back but not old enough or sufficiently compromised by illness for COVID.

Had flu a fortnight ago and Covid next Wednesday.
A youthful 69 but immunosuppressed.
I've lost count of the number of Covid jabs now. Easily into double figures.

People are just goldfish. They think it’s no longer a threat…ironically, because of the success of the vaccine.

I had my flu and Covid jabs on 3rd October, I’m immunosuppressed so qualify even though I’m an extremely young 72. My wife and son who live in the same house were previously given the Covid jabs were told that they now don’t qualify so it seems strange that it was necessary to keep Covid away from me beforehand but not now! 🤔

Pacey my eldest suffered aches and pains after his first, but went on to have at least one more jab, but was diagnosed Ankylosing Spondylitis around 18months/2yrs ago, got to administer himself with jab every fortnight now, plus now he's autoimmune he easily picks up colds etc, he's convinced that, that first jab caused it.

Mrs, eldest and myself have had covid twice, amazingly our youngest hasn't caught it once, he's been unwell with chest infections, but that's quite normal for him with his condition, but never been diagnosed with covid.
