The £10m is morris, but the Cravatt investment hasn’t been disclosed and the rumours were it was more than Morris.

God knows, just trying to think up why it hasn’t been announced and what they’d get out of keeping it quiet.

You can't just keep it quiet though. If its been invested in the club like even the trust are trying to imply now - it has to be declared, just like Morris' was.

As I say, someone's lying (or the club is badly out of compliance with companies house)

Not sure if this is good info or speculation

A trio of US-based investors are set to invest in Welsh football club Swansea City, with Nigel Morris, co-founder and managing partner of QED Investors, alongside Andy Coleman, an investor in the US soccer team DC United, and Brett Cravatt, Co-Founder of Centerfield, who will invest an initial £10 million ($12.5 million).

So it could be they've put in £10 Mill between the 3 of them then and they're kind of acting like 1 block like Kaplan and Levein were?

That's how I read it, but of course it may be wrong, or badly written

$10 million invested
Three new investors
Each has a slightly different role in the club

Aside from the business analyst issue under discussion it would appear the closer relationship between the US and Swansea is taking a step closer to home.

It has been a dissapointing ten years.

I‘m struggling to understand why Morris would go out on a limb to invest £10m for 20% while the others only exchange shares in a Delaware holding.

Edit: Delaware company not holding.

Exactly.

It's all (besides Morris in fairness) one bug fuckin con.

'SIzeable investment into the club' - my arse.

Pyramid scheme ?

Out of curiosity, who said or indicated that Cravatt was putting more money in than Morris or any of the other guys?

Maybe I will be wrong but it was always indicated to me that Cravatt and Coleman were being brought in by the current owners and Morris was coming in off his own back via introduction by Martin Morgan.
As I say, maybe I am wrong but the signs thus far indicate this to be the case.

Here’s an easy explainer to our ownership structure and where the investment is:

Seems as dodgy as feck to me.

Who knows as there has not been a clear announcement

This from 28th April

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/who-based-trio-said-very-26802262

"Reports from North America suggest Swansea City are set to receive a £10 million injection from three US-based businessman.

Nigel Morris, Andy Coleman and Brett Cravatt are the three individuals, according to reports Stateside, who are looking to boost the club’s coffers."

That implies a figure of £10m

Hasn't Morris put in £10m for his shares in the club and not the consortium?

How many new shares have been issued by the club over maybe the last 18 months?

These are very simple questions that could easily be answered without any confidentiality broken, does the word invest mean into the consortium or direct to the club.

Does seem a bit fishy I will admit. Why the need for so much secrecy is anyone's guess.

Risc et al need to listen to Lisa. Read and digest. Forget the big numbers and try to get your heads around the words.
