Why would the players play for a manager that doesn't want to be here? Worrying times ahead.

What evidence is there that he doesn't want to be here? I have not seen any actual proof that he has been approached or applied for, any of these positions. Its all wishful thinking.

The thing is all the club know he’s probably been to Palace and Fulham for interviews, he didn’t get Palace and we don’t know the outcome of the Fulham one I’m thinking they’re trying to work out a deal with us, but if for whatever reason he doesn’t get it and comes back, he isn’t going to be motivated IMO and how do we expect the players to be up for it and play 100% when the manager of the club doesn’t feel the same way.

It's understood Cooper was previously interviewed for the vacancy at Crystal Palace following the departure of Roy Hodgson, but the Eagles now seem to have moved on to other targets

The Fulham so called ITK has stated they could have their manager in place by Thursday, he’s said today that a foreign manager was brought to his attention by his source today but hasn’t actually confirmed who or if he’s the person.

Just seen he’s actually stated he’s a British manager, so Cooper or Wilder then.

Your statement that he cant want be here because interviewed elsewhere is also off the mark. Wanting to better yourself does not mean you are unhappy where you are or that you dont want to be there. Its just mean you are aware that there are better positions out there.Who doesnt want to improve themselves? Its not like he's only been here 3 weeks either.

It's probably worth adding at this stage that our owners are not famed for their negotiating skills

When TV deals were being discussed in the PL era they thought we held as much clout with Sky Sports as the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool etc

For Gylfi they probably cost us money in the way they handled that one and there was a decent chunk more available for Rodon should we have decided to hold on for it.

We have a reasonable history even before them of either not getting what players are worth or holding out for more and eventually missing out

“But I was told last night that Chris Wilder is in talks with Fulham.

“I think that would be a really good appointment with his pedigree in the Championship.”
