No doubt in my mind, when their keeper brought down Brewster late in the game and our lad got booked for diving, that was a definite pen. Sky showed it from half a dozen angles in real time and slo mo, it was a stone waller.
I guess we should be grateful Stroud gave us the other one!

100% penalty. The only reason he never gave it is because he had just sent off one of their players.

I thought it was a pen too. The two Sky Sports pundits anaylazing the game didn't think it was.

I'm not sure what others think but the bias towards Brentford was astounding. It was as though they were willing and preferring them to win. At one point I thought I was watching Bees TV.

Surprise surprise, where are Sky sports based.

And yes it was 100% a penalty

Us making the playoffs and beating the current golden boys is not part of the Sky narrative, and anyone for who thinks that’s sour grapes it a FACT. Sky decide the story they want to tell before every match. Seven or eight years ago it was us, now it’s Brentford’s turn, and we just p!ssed on their fireworks.

Nail hit on head there pal. They are the darlings that we were when we got promoted. They need a new fairy story for next season, now that the Bournemouth fairytale has turned to dust.

Fulham and Brentford are the media favourites, we finished a long way behind and got walloped x 2 by the bees, they looked a lot better in all areas, maybe some humility would be the best strategy, it was a penalty and should have been, all to look forward to, a win is a win and we are again in the driving seat which on current form will unsettle the Bees

The stain appearing Liberty is a non starter to the brand new Bees stadium for Sky.

That's a good thought.

Perhaps we should prepare ourselves for a good shafting on weds🙄

Yes their goalkeeper fouled Brewster. However, a second earlier Brentford should have been awarded a free kick after Gallagher's dive in the box.

Sky may have passed it off as a "slip", however it was a blatant dive from Gallagher. It is actually one of the worst dives I have ever seen.

This. As far as Sky are concerned we’ve had our moment in the sun, they’d love it to be Brentford - another new ‘David vs Goliath’ story - Fulham next up as so much easier to cover plus adds another London team for pulling more European players in. After that I suspect they won’t be bothered whether it’s us or the scum.

Fully expect a big Brentford build up on the pre-match piece & if they score first they’ll keep that momentum going.

I've always found Mick McCarthy to be a decent football man, but his blatant toad like fawning over Brentford last night was embarrassing.

No doubt he'll be bending over with a tube of lube in hand again on Wednesday night...

Nah, it's not really the worst you've ever seen. You're trying too hard to be controversial now and instead you just come out looking stoopid. Stoopid stupid Dwight.
