• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Sell Ayew or Celina and it may happen.

Funnily enough I can't remember where I read it now, could have been here, but Andy Scott while at Brentford liked to get his business done early and sell late into the window to get inflated fees when clubs are panic buying.

Could well be the case with Celina, I can't see how he can still be here next year with what looks to be an awful relationship with Cooper. Ayew I can see us keeping, but only because of his wages.

I remember reading that too. The kind of thinking that should be at place at any well-run club. We may well still be in the PL if we'd had that in place during the summer of 2017. Instead we sold Gylfi before buying replacements (or at least lining them up) and panic bought/loaned Clucas and Sanches at inflated fees at the last minute.

Interesting that he can play left back too, if he comes in we are a striker short of a very decent squad.

This one is a bit “meh” for me, especially for a fee. Blackburn fans don’t seem overly bothered about him going. He apparently what’s to play centre half but Mowbray only fancies him as a left back. Noticed some of their fans saying he looked decent as part of a three though which could be the reason Cooper and Scott could be interested.

Blackburn just signed Ayala could free up Williams moving on
