One thing's for sure, this can't continue. Lose at QPR and start playing like this again at home against SW and the stadium surely simply won't allow his gormless chops to sit there. He'll be slaughtered and roasted by the crowd and the players will know the jig is up and that's him done.

And he did just sit there, sat on his ass looking totally confused when we were chasing the game, we might as well have had KOL in the technical area trying to call the shots.

On a par with Bradley this clown is .

So what happened to 'we have a chance to make people proud'? At what point in the game from the first second had he set up the team to make anyone proud? If we'd managed to scrape a lucky 0-0 were we meant to be proud? Because that's the only intention we had from the start.

There is no excuse in a derby game to not get a shot on target until the 90th minute

I think the reception from the fans after the game towards Duff tonight suggest the wheels have started moving already.

If he played the Swansea way then he would have a bit more slack but due to our poor start and showing, I have read just a barrage of get Duff out tonight on all platforms with a pattern of people saying he wasn't the right fit from the start.

The wrong people have advised these yanks that we need a pragmatic approach just like Luton, they thought it was just a case of sprinkling magic dust on it for work.

In 7 years the yanks are still not getting it and are making bigger mistakes as they go along.

Fair point. Continuity needed. Forget the spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations Yanks. Still think Cameron Toshack should have been given a chance.

Let’s be honest, when a modern day coach believes that making training sessions more competitive is the answer then you’re truly knackered, wrong bloke wrong club..simples

What did the fans do magic? Hope they f*****g obliterated him

Gave him the biggest booing I have ever heard in a long time.

His style coupled with poor performance's won't see him last long here.
Wrong manager, wrong style and wrong club.

When you get too many people trying to do football off spreadsheets and databases then you are in big trouble.

As I told his lordship DrP a while back......football is played on grass and not on a piece of paper and if you go too far down the route of the latter then you are in trouble. The people who push the computer and data stuff are needed to an agree but proper football guys who know the situation are the most important people.

Always one to give whoever comes in the time to put their own stamp on what they’re trying to do.

This all just has a dreadful whiff of inevitability about it at the moment.

Next two games are all he has I feel.

Six matches and more than a third want him out. I know many fans today at every club have the patience of a three year old in a tantrum but that is ridiculous. Teams have won leagues having taken just two points from their opening six matches.

Michael Duff is a good manager. He took a small club to the fourth tier title and consolidated their position in the division above. In one season at Barnsley he took them to the play-off final and a whisker from promotion.

Michael Duff will lead Swansea City back to The Premier League. It's highly unlikely to be this season. Next season might be a challenge for the play-offs but Swansea will reach the top-flight by the summer of 2026 if he remains in position. But not if he's going to be judged after six matches having been forced to sell the outstanding players who were at the club .

I thought Duff was a very good appointment and a definite upgrade on Martin. It will take a lot more than six matches to alter my opinion.

It doesn't matter what he's done in the lower leagues, we've seen teams dominate in league one and come up to the championship as whipping boys who struggle to stay out of the bottom 3.

Its a different level, a huge step up. Some players and managers can take the step up. At the moment Duff doesn't look like he's at the level needed. He's got a lot to learn if he wants to make it at this level - and I don't think that will be with us.

Add in the team being largely made up of average lower end championship / mid-top league one level and you get this shit show we've seen the last 8 weeks or so.
