For a start send Jerry Yates back to Blackpool, stick a straw hat on him and make him give rides on the beach for £5 a go. That way we can recoup some of the transfer fee we spunked on him.

How have we paid £2.5m for him. Crazy, wouldn't be so bad of the rest of the team were creating chances for him but he is useless around the pitch. Just a classic lower league player runs about and works hard, gets lucky off scrappy balls. Shait

Quite clear it was drilled into the Cardiff players what tonight meant. Ramsey said as much.

Duff treated it like any other game.

I could see in the first 5 minutes our lot just weren't up for it at all

Writing was on the wall as soon as he made the comments after the Bristol City game.
His style works with certain teams with a certain style and history but some teams want passion and fight in their club and Swansea City fall in the latter category.

These yanks have made mistake time and time again, they entered from our style with Cooper and have just seen the Luton story and fallen for it to work here.
The yanks are ripping us apart.

One thing's for sure, this can't continue. Lose at QPR and start playing like this again at home against SW and the stadium surely simply won't allow his gormless chops to sit there. He'll be slaughtered and roasted by the crowd and the players will know the jig is up and that's him done.

No point in waiting unfortunately, Duff is clearly out of his depth, act now before we are cut adrift

Issue we have now.......we have a new chairman and sporting director who by getting rid of Duff now will make themselves look silly, Kaplan and Levien will be questioning a few things and by getting rid of Duff will be showing all including fans that they got it wrong.

It's going to be the stubborn game for atleast another 2 weeks in hope something happens......i say hope because I have seen nothing to show any signs of encouragement or to build on.

I think the reception from the fans after the game towards Duff tonight suggest the wheels have started moving already.

If he played the Swansea way then he would have a bit more slack but due to our poor start and showing, I have read just a barrage of get Duff out tonight on all platforms with a pattern of people saying he wasn't the right fit from the start.

The wrong people have advised these yanks that we need a pragmatic approach just like Luton, they thought it was just a case of sprinkling magic dust on it for work.

In 7 years the yanks are still not getting it and are making bigger mistakes as they go along.

Has the twat done his presser yet?

Sky Interview 10 mins ago: (paraphrasing)

Mumbled ... then said they're subs come on and changed the game. Then a lack of quality from us, which is not unlike us, everytime we passed the ball forward we gave it away. We were alright when passing sideways and backwards. Couldn't sustain any attacks couldn't build any momentum, becomes a difficult evening then

Our subs didn't change the game, not much in the game before the first game. First goal is important in such a big game.

Talks about penalty - doesn't think it was. Didnt score didn't really look like scoring, good moments first half and we asked them to tweak a couple of things and it was just lack of quality in forward passes

Lack of quality is clearly a concern. Players are good footballers, thought they ran, tackled, fought, had a go. Suprising thing was lack of quality

Stop start, 3 debuts today. Talking about Ntcham refuse to play and Piroe, Wood noise and Joe Allen injury tonight (excuses). Feels like everythings against you but you see the true character of the true players. Footballs a tough sport, no one is going to give you a win, its about sticking together and working hard.

We need to be better than that, its disappointing in such a big game. Not through lack of fight but lack of quality tonight

I am all for giving a man time, but the manner of the performances not only today but for all of this season screams to me of someone who doesn't know how to get a tune out of this squad. Yates is not a target man, that is clear as day and he will look like horseshit if we are lumping long balls up to him all day. Same thing with Ginnelly and Lowe, none of them want the ball played to them from a hundred feet in the air while contested by two or more defenders.

Kukharevych loves that physical battle and any of the three above (plus Cullen) would love playing off him. However that is besides the point because Swans fans don't want a route one style of play, they want fast one or two touch football on the deck.

Problem right now seems to be that Duff is determined to stick with his 5-3-2 with three holding midfielders and then be mystified why our wingbacks and strikers are getting no service when the other six players are still in our own half holding a defensive shape.

What did the fans do magic? Hope they fucking obliterated him
