Honestly people trusting Transfermarkt as fact is a step to far for me. They're on the list of sources not to trust for FM. Always verify elsewhere before using as while there's some sound info on there it's indistinguishable from the pure fiction and guesswork.

It's common knowledge amongst any in depth football enthusiast that Transfermarkt isn't the most reliable, it has its uses but certainly would get filled in the fiction section.
I personally know how it works.

Football Manager have said it will cost £2m to get him aswell.

I have my doubts that we'd pay that much for Mykolo (and think its mad that we could have)....

But you must admit its quite the coincidence that Duffle etc has been insinuating since he joined that we paid 2mill for him, it hasn't been reported as such anywhere else, but transfermrket do now have it noted down now as that figure.

Especially when looking at his career, it is a surprising and non obvious fee (as I say transfermrket themselves have his current value as 500k).

Let's just hope he delivers wether people think it cost us £2, 450k or 2M.

That we do agree on Daps. I think he will 🤞

We will all be hoping that.
Hopefully we will be arguing over if he will hit 20 or 30 goals for the season 😂

FM uses an algorithm to determine transfer value, which is practically meaningless in-game as actual asking price bears little resemblance to it. It's not something researchers set directly or generally have any insider knowledge/crystal ball for. I've been doing the Swans data since 2015 and you wouldn't trust me for accurate info, would you?

Kukharevich's profile on that site is also really out of date, he got a big upgrade at the end of the season from the Hibs researcher.

Ah right another dud source then.

Let’s keep looking until we find one which supports the low fee argument.

Ps - they’ve made a good guess on this particular one.

So is Ikoba signing then?

Probably not, but hey, 6 pages and counting about a player nobody has heard of, and only a couple of posts where he's been mentioned...

Planet Swans at its finest

You do realise that at the time I (and others who know) informed him that his fee of 450k was laughable and was around £2m - it was listed as “undisclosed” right?

Gosh I must be the luckiest guy in the world, first I gave the initials of the loan players we were signing before any news broke; then I just so happened to guess the correct fee for the lovely Ukrainian.

…. Or of course the sensible take would be that I know. Something Daps hasn’t quite grasped yet.

As for Transfermarkt, it’s incredibly accurate, hence why he used it to tell us how much Troyes paid for him :D

Didn’t take long for the bullying of Daps to start.

People are just calling out his lying, it’s inconvenient for him but not bullying.

He has a narrative at the moment that the owners aren’t spending any money, on the other forum he seems to be spinning some mad tale about us not spending anything from the investments - completely ignoring we had a potential £24m hole.

If he stops lying I’m sure he will stop being collared as it were.

The odds of that as well as the other stuff being a coincidence is astronomical.

For me to guess the loan players initials before anyone reported either and say it was two when everyone was expecting 1, is about 1000-1.

Then add in the fee for Ukrainian being 2m when people (largely due to Daps’ made up rumour - which was based on his listed value on TM), for it to be so much higher is probably 500-1 in itself.

1000x500= 500,000-1 :lol:

If only a stuck a quid on it right?

Indeed, the odds of that (plus the initials given before the loan deal broke) is astronomical.

500,000-1 chance… or I know.

What’s most likely?
