So refs never red card home players 🤔. This one simply a ref howler.
It's a lot more serious than a howler, it's incompetence to the level of being able to do his job at the standard required at this level. Don't forget they are also getting paid a decent wack.

There are millions of pounds at stake to clubs like ours each and every season.

I've said it before, may as well say it again. Refs make howlers (like the appalling example in this thread of the non red card for the Hackney thuggery kick). Players make howlers. (I haven't seen the Cullen miss but a lot reckon as a professional he should have scored.) These sorts of mistakes cost games.

Then in a typical match, players make lots of lesser mistakes, ditto refs.

There is no excessive bias by refs against us as Swansea. Though generally we are biased against refs.

Ditto scenario for every other football club and their fans across the Country.

Go with the flow guys. Over 46 games it generally evens itself out.

We are where we are at Swansea because of our players - not bloody refs.

No refs - no football . Simple as. It's a game played and reffed by humans. Both make mistakes. It's not one way traffic to refs. Just take our crap shooting for example, as one poster said they need to have extended training to keep the ball from hitting row Z. And they are supposed to be professionals !

I was down the stadium for the Hull game earlier this season and the ref was so bad in that game against us, I refuse to believe he didn't have some sort of agenda. I don't care how barking that may sound, it cannot be possible for a ref to be that one-sided in his decisions without something sinister being at play. He even conjured extra injury time for them to score an equaliser in, he was that bad.

I agree the Hackney foul was more than a ref howler, and he ( the ref) should be suspended at least for incompetence. Very bad incident

But the conspiracy theories, come on guys, I'm not having it . Conjuring up extra time to allow an equaliser 😂😂

However, the bias of fans to question most ref decisions that go against THEIR team is one of the fundamental laws of the universe 😊.

I didnt really get to see the game on Boxing day, but Ive watched over 70mins today on Swans site, if you get a chance watch it again with the thoughts on the ref in your head, absolutly diabolical. Bids not booked after blocking off about 3 times, fouls not given for us but given for them, the ball hits the ref!!!!! throw in for th goal at least 10 yds from where the ball went in, on linesman side!our 2 nd booking was similar to a Cov challenge on Gallbraith, nowt given, no agenda though.........................

I will stand by my opinion that the only unquestioned example of a referee cheating I've ever been present for was Madley giving that penalty against Stoke. It looked ridiculous at the time and replays showing he literally couldn't see the 'handball' proved it. The only reason there wasn't more outcry and a suspension for him was because it was only little old Swansea. If he'd made that decision against Man United or Liverpool he'd never have refereed in this country again.

This one I tend to agree with you Jack

Totally agree with you. Mcburnie got away with murder and we were penalised for less harsh challenges.

Every decision he made for 5 minutes leading up to that was bent, including retaking the corner that led to the ‘handball’ when Stoke arsed it up. I reckon his ego was bruised by the crowd baiting him and he thought ‘I’ll show them’. Or, as many speculated at the time, he had a bet on the draw, but I don’t buy that myself. I think he’s just a puffed up thin skinned tit.
