I refuse to scrimp on heating.
I'd rather be a bit skint than ill.
It is however incredible to see how much my bills have shot up!
I'm so glad I and my partner areworking.
I can only guess how stressed some are be they out of work or in the "working poor" bracket.
Sacrifices are having to be made. Xmas around the corner, it'll be very lean for many.
 
With all of these big price rises there is also going to be a knock on effect on pollution. We have two open fires in our house, both will be well used this winter as I have plenty of coal and logs stocked up and ready to go.
I know I am not alone, our chimney sweep has never been so busy as people have decided to open up old fireplaces or have new ones installed.
 
Good point gadget, I've never seen so many kindling and logs for sale in the shops as this year.
Morrisons are selling a recycled log made from coffee that you can burn.
That must smell tempting!
