Starts at 11am at Lord’s. New Zealand are the best team in the world, England very much are not. Anderson and Broad back, new captain in Stokes, new coach in McCullum. I’m looking forward to this.

New Zealand win the toss and elect to bat. Let’s get it on.

Superb stuff, can't remember a single ball straying offline, perhaps the reset is finally taking place...

What a bizarre incident that was with poor Jack Leach!
Matt Parkinson will be substituting him under the concussion law

He may have been born in Manchester but Michael Vaughan is the classic stereotype of a Yorkshireman isn't he? What a dour prick.

Could be a two day test match the way this is going. Three max.

This is a brilliant 2005 lunchtime piece.
The ashes of that year were so memorable.
I was drinking with Llangy in his house one Saturday morning during that Trent Bridge test and Sinon Jones and Hoggard just turned it on......knowing I had had one beer I drove home quickly to get smashed and then went out to celebrate the great contest.
Cricket did that! I was a rugby man!

What would England give for an extra fifty first innings runs? Those who purchased tickets for Sunday are probably on the hunt for something else to do.

Here we go, a big fifth wicket partnership coming up? Every run that goes on the NZ board just heaps pressure on England. A big session in the context of the game.
