See as there was nothing much left for us to play for I bloody enjoyed tonight.

Mind you how the f*ck my grandson can eat those cheesey chips baffles me though, they look as if a seagull has defecated all over them.

Brilliant game for the neutral. Nice to see you got involved too Dar 😉

Very good game.
Wasn't overly looking forward to it although I was hoping we would get a win.
The first 70 minutes were brilliant.
The rest were very good but obviously for different reasons.

Totally agree, I left there obviously a bit dissappinted but we all said what a game. The substitutions said it all really about the gap between the sides. Yes we have a lot to learn but that first 60 minutes were fantastic.

The game changed when Cabango went off injured and Moore had a field day against Manning, Naughton etc.The biggest problem was tiredness in the end, we had nothing on the bench and the desperation of Bournemouth was quite funny on times. Ironically smashing the ball 30 yards was our downfall as we just handed the ball back to them for wave after wave of attack.

As for some of our fans last night you just have to laugh. There's a few sat by us "disgrace" "Useless" abusing individual players and it gets to the point even when Fisher made some good saves they cant clap him. I understand it does happen but it has always infuriated me about personal abuse towards players. We could be 4 nil up and some people around me would still moan. I honestly don't get why they spend so much money or get so angry.

They've always been around. When we were running away with League 1 playing brilliant football, there were those who spent all their time complaining that De Vries wasn't good enough, Gower was crap because he didn't score, Scotland was lazy because he didn't run about enough...

In more recent times, the likes of Routledge and Naughton even after 200+ games for the team, were still described as useless and donkeys by some fans every game.

Like you, I struggle to see why they bother spending their time and money on following the team when they seem to spend so much time being angry. A bit like those demanding we sack the manager after only achieving a draw against a team in 2nd place in the table.

It was a hugely entertaining game, obviously a bit disappointing when our defensive frailties were so cruelly exposed, but we are where we are. Looking at the positives, what a strike force we've got, and the midfield is shaping up nicely as well, with Downes, Patio and Ncham when he turns up.
A question that lingers in my mind, what was the point of loaning Finley Burns if he's never going to get game time? He's not going to develop if he's just picking splinters out of his arse after each game. He might not have come up to the mark, but I'd rather have seen him come on last night than Korey Smith.
Talking of improving the defence next season, I've floated this out before, but how about approaching Spurs for a Joe Rodon loan? I've checked his stats, and he's another one who's spent virtually the whole season with his arse planted on the bench. Surely that's not doing a talented 24 year old player any good? Come on Martin, think outside the box.

Disappointed with the result, but did enjoy it.
Nothing left on our games apart form a few league positions, so no pressure.
Most of us thought we’d end up mid table, and that’s where we are. Be nice to finish in the top half mind.
Looking forward to the Florist on Saturday.

I don't rate Fisher but I would have been clapping his saves last night....and yelling for the f****r to come for the ball and command his box. With Moore bullying small weak defenders, that was essential.

Enjoyed what I saw on wobbly streams. Thought we were very lucky to be three up against the run of play but all great finishes. A bit more composure and we could have nicked another couple too. Expected them to come back but I thought we might well hold it until Manning's error. Then it was just if we could stop them scoring more than another one as they had lots of time, relentless attacks and a scary defence against them.

Just echoing what's been said already.

Game very accurately summed up where we are at the moment. Going to be a very interesting summer to see what we try to achieve by keeping who we want and getting in who we need.

I think we may be fortunate to keep Piroe for another season, I thought that he may not be ready physically to lead the line for PL team and be expected to hit the ground running. He is however, becoming increasingly good in that no.10 role, and I think we could be more worried about a team from abroad coming in for him.

Downes is the other one. He is ready for the PL now and he is the one I'm most worried about losing in the summer.

If we keep those two and get who we want into defence and out wide then we'll have some fun.
