Have you enjoyed the season?

Overall not a bad season. Quite enjoyed the convenience of sitting in my own lounge by a nice warm radiator and watching the game instead of a cold wet Liberty. For us oldies who don't enjoy the best of health, it's a pity we aren't allowed to watch at home irrespective of the covid situation. I'd gladly pay a tenner a time. For those who think this has been a bad season, all I can say is you can't have been around too long. Back in the day.......

Got to disagree with you there..... ;)

When you consider the season as a whole, there have been more positives than negatives, the football has been good on some occasions and dour on others, but when you consider MGW didn’t play at all really, we didn’t have a striker until Cullen was brought on board, two 20 year old centre halves who were part of a defence that allowed our young keeper to win the golden glove, a lack of investment in the squad and potentially the loss of players at every window.

To keep us in the top half would be an achievement to keep us in the top 4 for almost the entire season needs to be recognised as a job well done. Factor in the pandemic and it is remarkable.

Cooper is no Rodgers but he has done well and the additional funds from reaching the playoffs two years running has helped the finances and raised the hopes of fans that we could reach the PL again.

Yes and no. I don't think I've ever seen every match in a season ever before, but on many levels it's been an unbearable watch, what with the lack of action and the cardboard cut outs for supporters. I don't think I'm any more ready for the Premier League than the team are, but we could well beat Barnsley over two matches and in Ayew we have someone who could create something out of nothing to win at Wembley. It's not impossible and in many ways that's very scary.

I have no excitement in the prospect of going to the Premier League and playing the big boys like before...

... the only upside is that it sets us up to be in a stronger financial position to rebuild the team again. But it will be a painful season in the PL if we did go up.

Been happy ignoring most or some

We have done well and have had a good season
