Entertainment after a hard week in work.

I'm just as worried about attendances as you are. There's very little atmosphere over the stadium these days. If we managed to get a few extra thousand over there on " Kids for a quid" how many do you think would return after seeing the product on display this season.
I don't know but what bothers me is that the club don't seem to want to try very often. However I stress we are by no means the only football club who do this. I don't want to come across like I'm singling us out because it's a problem for football as a whole (outside the top flight).

I put a post on the Widell thread relevant to this. Don't want to repost the whole thing so here's a link if you're interested.

Sorry - only just seen this. Great post.

Completely agree with your post. O’Brien changed tempo of the team and Widell has been the brightest spark in midfield for me in the last two games.

I dont understand the OP to be honest. I went because it what I always did. Its how me and my Dad bonded and then a reason to meet up as lifeas my father's, and I'll always go, regardless happened. Its how stayed in touch with my roots when I lived away. It was always about my connection with my home town and my club. When we had success it was bonus. When had 30 years of struggle it was about support. It was never about entertainment. If you want to be entertained go to the circus.
That's pretty much how I feel too. It's my club, it was my father's all his life too. I'll always go while I can still physically manage it. It's a chance to meet up with friends too.
I'm fortunate enough to have done well in life and can afford to hop over from Spain every few weeks, no kids to pay for either. But I can well understand it's a big financial commitment for people with families.
