• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I'm not sure about him, although when he's on the ball in an attacking position he can easily beat a few defenders and he has the quality of having time on the ball, which is rare.
What surprised me about him today was how well he held on to the ball. On a few occasions the fullback tried to rough him up without any luck

This thread is a wind-up, yes? Eom is clearly one of our better players. Cuts through defences at precisely the point where Ronald stops dead and turns around to see who he can pass back to. Eom is still a work in progress but we missed him badly when he was out. Would love a couple more players of his calibre if KSY has some to spare.

Took him a few games to get up to the bustle of Championship football but started to play really well before he got injured. Was a little rusty after that but had a good game yesterday.

Not sure why so many people expect players to be able to immediately hit peak form when they're just dropped into the team after not many games or a spell of injuries but that view is becoming increasingly prevalent.

You notice more when you're at the game, I enjoyed watching him yesterday, everything about the lad was class.

He's certainly toughened up in possession. In his early games he was quite often bullied off the ball, but that's happening less as time goes on. Can tend to run into blind alleyways a bit, but gradually, and especially yesterday, he's releasing the ball at better times. Just like the little poke through to Cullen for the shot that led to our third.

The full back did his best to kick him off the ball without any luck yesterday.

Thoroughly enjoyed his performance.

He needs a better final ball and not to panic when in a shooting position.
He's eye catching and looks good but the bottom line is 15 appearances, 0 goals and 1 assist from an attacking player.
That needs to improve.

The lad has joined a league like no other and landed in a country completely the polar opposite of the one he grew up in and then picked up an injury which kept him out for six weeks.

Lets just focus on a couple of shots that haven't hit the target.

If people can't be impressed with the shift he put in yesterday then the lad isn't going to win them over.

Eom will turn out to be a very good player for us, given a run of games, he will go on to have a very good career indeed. Watch this space.
Needs to improve output asap mjnd. No goal or assist yet

Ronald, who has a 12 page thread about how terrible he is, has 5 assists and 1 goal this season. Eom has 1 assist and no goals.
As you were.
