Eom

I think the general agreement amongst Swans fans is that Vigs, Galbraith, and Vip are our best players, and all leading Championship quality, and although I don't disagree, I think Tymon should probably also be in there, and Eom has certainly demonstrated that he can reach that quality, if only in patches.

Vigouroux, Galbraith, Tymon and Vipotnik are all top Championship quality and the kind of players that you can build promotion contending teams around.

Stamenic isn't far behind them. Tough to say what I think he needs to add to his game to take it to the next level, if anything I would only say consistency, some games he rules the midfield and cuts through the press and picks out passes like its nothing and other games he retreats right in between the center halves and removes himself as the link between the defense and midfield.

EOM’s got bags of talent and his close control is top-tier, but his end product is almost non-existent: A 4% conversion rate is very low. In addition, his decision making is questionable and he just gets bullied off the ball way too easily especially in out of possession situations. The worry is he’s nearly finished two seasons here now and should be well adjusted to the Championship by this point. After his first few games, I thought we were signing a 'G/A' machine, but unfortunately, I’m seriously doubting if he's up to it

I think his decision making is actually decent now… he should have far more assists to his name.

Again on Tuesday he went on a lovely run, lay the defender on his arse, tee’d Cullen up perfectly 8 yds out for him to miss.

And as for being bullied… I don’t see that at all any more. Since Matos has come in he’s been so much stronger and aggressive out of possession.

This got me thinking.
Where would we place stamanic and Fulton as defensive midfielders in the league.
Top 5 or less?
On their day, they look fantastic

I see it differently (just and example: his conversion ratio has actually dropped from last season, he shoots more but just can’t put them in the net). After two years at the club, his numbers are not good enough if we are aiming for promotion.

It doesn't matter what Eom does in a Swansea City shirt, it won't be enough for some.

Haters got to hate

Yes his numbers should be better ,
The eye test for me is he is a better player this season .
Looks as if he's been working out in the gym doesn't get knocked off the ball so easily .
He has improved defensively this season
The Southampton game playing in front of Sam Parker he did well .
He looks more confident now a goal , assist winning a penalty from the last 5 games is proof .
