• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

You could see flashes of Eom's potential at the start of the season, he was good at driving runs and was surprisingly difficult to knock off the ball for his size. Then that got coached out of him by Williams and with a few sitters missed his confidence at everything he was good at took a nose dive.
Yea you're probably spot on with that. Same as Ronald, he was brilliant when he first signed and then looked a shadow of that player for most of this season.

A Twitter thread worth a look. An interview with Eom about how it's gone for him here.

Insights into how hard he found the pace of the game physically to begin with despite his fitness levels (something to cut the likes of Inoussa and Widell slack for), and also a respectful jab at how playing for Williams stifled him.

Could have a huge season for us this time around if he's used properly and not stifled.

Be interesting to see where we use him. On the flank or in the centre. Currently he'd be my first choice to play at #10, but if we do bring O'Brien back then maybe Widell becomes that and Eom is fighting with Ronald or Inoussa for a spot on the wing.

Nice to have options.
