• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Doesn't sound likely to me either considering he was playing every game

Get a proper winger (because that’s where he was playing) or even a proper wing back that also defends and he’ll be forgotten in no time.

No arguments from me, but I was hoping he would have stayed at RWB, and we would have got someone in to strengthen left side to compliment him, we were over reliant on him imo.

He had a big falling out after the Forest match with Russell. Deleted most of his Swansea pictures on Social Media and asked to move. I’m not stating this is true but it was something I heard from someone who knows his family. I’m not saying he didn’t enjoy playing for us or the fans support, just that there was an incident and it might have snowballed from there.

He’ll not hear fans running down the wing at Bournemouth he’ll hear seagulls. He will have to be regimented if they use him in a back four.

Spot on JH, I heard precisely the same. Players are massively gutted and many are considering their options right now. Pato most especially, front of the departures lounge.

A proper player's player, life and soul of the dressing room and on the pitch. In so many ways.

Martin clearly has man-management issues. 17th, and counting.

No idea about if there was a falling out, but looking at his socials he has loads of Swansea content on there, also just put a quote “love always” with the swan emoji. Agree he won’t air his dirty laundry in public but doesn’t strike me as someone who just forced a move.

Oh dear, relying on Twatter for your intel is so yesteryear.

How very fitting.

You seem to be continually tangled in some twatter webbed world.

Look up and 'see' what's happening, in the real world. Get yourself some proper, real sources for once.

I wouldn't expect the left side to praise him. Especially for his lack of out and out wing play, nor out and out RB play - not a patch on CR.

Ah I see. Maybe you meant complement ?

I just checked to see if it was true he deleted his Swansea content, it wasn't.

But yes I did mean complement. Cheers.

Completely agree but we were already lacking that on the left, it's not looking promising atm

<< "But his parent club have decided it’s better for him to go and play in a slightly different position with a different club in this league who are fighting hard for promotion. That’s their prerogative. That is the danger you have with loan players.

"We’re gutted, on a personal level, we get on really well. It’s not a decision that was driven by him. He’s not looked to go, it was brought to him by the club. >>

As expected, United wanted him with more defensive responsibilities. That’s not from the world of twatter either.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t doubt at all you was told that JH. The other one that replied though has a history of sitting in his folks box room making out he knows people from within the club to make up stories to belittle the manager, just because that manager replaced his wet dream Cooper.

Good luck to him I hope he doesn't dive in our box when he plays down here. Cos he's bound to get a pen :?

What on earth has happened to Ethan Laird? He hasn’t played a single game for Bournemouth, and is not even included in the squad for tonight’s FA Cup match.
