What is important aswell, is that the teams aiming to qualify in the 3rd place spot, keep their GD as low as possible, or score enough to be ranked higher on a tiebreaker.

The 3rd place teams that got eliminated in 2016, did so with a negative goal difference

Hence why Ukraine are in a better position than Scotland at the moment.

And if Scotland lose to England, they'll need to beat Croatia by at least 4 in the last game.
