• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I don't think VAR was used, was it? Is it used for penalty shouts?
The German caught his back leg first if you watch it in slomo, but they didn't mention that in the studio, it didn't suit their narrative - plucky 32 year old defender, last ditch tackle, studs brushed the ball, etc.
Yes, they did brush the ball, after he'd made contact with his back leg!
Anyway, it made feck all difference in the end.

Can Mbappe motor, or what? He was like a Ferrari going past a Co-op bread van.

VAR is most definitely in use - they're sat in Nyon, Switzerland, which beats Stockley Park by some distance I would imagine. They seem to have got the balance right though i.e. they're making decisions quickly and they're not showing the painstaking drawing of lines from armpits (although they show still shots afterwards). But defo penalty checks are being done.

A win today and we should at least get one of the best four 3rd places ... and a nice trip to Rome on Sunday to take on the Italians ... let's hope we have a more competitive midfield for this game and try and keep ball and create chances from there ... the occasional hoof to Moore isn't an issue either :)

My team for Wales..

Ward

Williams
Cabango
Rodon
Davies

Allen
Ampadu
Ramsey

Bale
Moore
James

Well, I ended my hoodoo last night with the French win.. Russia vs Finland, you know what, I fancy the Fins for this one

Some classic commentary from Keown:
“The central defenders love to defend, especially in the central areas”

1-0 Russia. You’ve done it again skippy 🙂

No changes for the game.
Would have put in Cabangp instead of Mepham as others have said.
Let’s hope we turn up this time. Need a win.

He's clueless, Morrell and Mepham were horrendous against the Swiss, and Roberts as a RB comes with a great sigh, good luck Wales but I'm going for a convincing Turkey win

Cabango not even on the bench again. Really diificult to understand unless he’s injured. Looks as if he wouldn’t even had been in the squad if squad size had been kept at the original 23, rather than the 26 they are now allowed to have

Your prediction may be our last hope, mate.
