Leeds have Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal to play as well as awkward trips to Palace and Brentford. They might not get many more points.

Hopefully no more.
Though I still can't see Everton overtaking Leeds ( don't care if Everton or Leeds go down if I am honest

Was listening to Talksport before the game and the usual myth came up about Everton.
One presenter thought they had never been relegated, the other thought it was only once, in the 1950's.
Could have googled it two seconds.
What poor research.

That adds spice to the pot. Tonight might be very important to them.

As an aside, the bug eyed bees has done a cracking job. I thought they'd crash and burn after xmas, but quite the opposite.

Erikson has transformed them

Everton all day long for me. Burnley fans are just like us, know what it's like to play outside of the top division, see just being in the Prem an achievement in itself. On the other hand Everton supporters are a bit like glory hunters just that they've decided to go for a team that doesn't get all that much glory, a bit like Wet Spam fans. They've become complacent with being in the Prem, taken it for granted despite hardly performing any better than the also rans like Burnley.

My prediction, the Dirty aren't out of the woods yet either. I see Burnley staying up you know, so it's probably Everton for me.

Can’t see Everton staying up, Burnley got the bit between their teeth and Leeds got a 5 point lead over them, 5 pts could be ti much of a lead for Everton to overcome, Leeds got a difficult run in though, but so has Everton, but Leeds 5 pt lead could be should be significant.

Just looked again at their fixtures, looks like Burnley has the easier run in and l can see Leeds getting another 2pts maybe more, leaving the Toffees to get 8 pts to overall them, unless Burnley crash and burn on their run in, it looks like the Toffees to fall through the trap door, at the moment, love Leeds to beat Citeh Saturday 😁😁

When Koeman had Everton in 13th place in November 2017, Everton replaced him with Big Sam, who led them to 8th by the end of the season.

I'm no fan of Allardyce, but you can see the logic in appointing him to ensure there was no chance they'd be relegated, given his track record of keeping teams in the PL.

This time they were in far more danger of relegation, being 16th in January, but chose to appoint Lampard, who has no track record of being in a relegation fight. Odd choice and they probably deserve to go down.

Allardyce’s record took a downturn at West Brom in his last appointment. I don’t think he’ll manage again for health reasons.

Agreed, but that's the kind of appointment Everton surely needed. Appointing a guy with one season at Derby (playoffs) and two at Chelsea (4th and sacked while in 9th) just seems negligent for a team trying to stave off relegation.

No argument about appointing Lampard. They would have been better keeping Rafa who had more points per game than Lampard has managed. They were 6 points clear of the bottom three when they sacked Rafa, but that was more than a simple football decision of course.

Hope the scousers drop like a turd in a well.
That corrupt last game v Wimbledon years ago should have seen em drop. That was bent as fck.
