Genuinely think they will go down

Man Utd (H)
Leicester (H)
LIverpool (A)
Chelsea (H)
Leicester (A)
Watford (A)
Brentford (H)
Palace (H)
Arsenal (A)

Some tough games when you are just 1 point ahead of the relegation zone and needing to probably win 3-4 more

If it's anything like when they had to beat Wimbledon to stay up, I wouldn't stay anywhere near Merseyside if I was Palace or Brentford.

I'm going to be generous and say that they will get a maximum of 13 points from that terrible sequence of games. Will that be enough? Do any of us want to see them in the Championship, given that they will have millions to spend to get themselves straight back up? And why the big gap between their next two matches? If they don't get anything against Man Utd that is really going to play on their nerves.

9 April - home v Manchester United

20 April - home v Leicester

24 April - away v Liverpool

1 May - home v Chelsea

7 May - away v Leicester

11 May - away v Watford

15 May - home v Brentford

19 May - home v Crystal Palace

22 May - away v Arsenal

Liverpool could win 4 trophies and Everton go down. Who'll feel worse Cardiff or Everton fans.?

The gap will be because they (I think) were due to play Palace who are in the CUp semi finals

I fancy it will be a new Championship ground for most, if not all, of our travelling Jack's next season.
Take your own cushion to avoid the splinters

I like the toffees but they are down I think. Lampard was a disaster appointment.

Undoubtedly the worst away ground I visited during our Premiership years. In the away section I seem to remember you are low down at pitch level and crammed in on hard, narrow wooden benches with minimal leg room which probably haven't been updated for fifty years. Horrible.

Completely agree - no desire to go back there at all

It has to be one of the worst views at a ground and that includes lower league grounds. Very difficult to follow the direction and travel of the ball Apart from supporting the team it’s a complete waste of money and time

I think they will be very lucky to stay up. Burnley's fixtures look kinder as they play a lot of bottom/mid table teams.

Wasn't there some sort of furore surrounding the Wimbledon game, possibly involving Hans Segers?

I don't rule out them giving Lampard the bullet within the next week or so. It's clear that he cannot get a tune out of the squad and new manager bounce is a strong possibility. Lamaprd has not delivered it but that does not mean that someone else couldn't.

Horrible nasty disgusting shithouse of a place as an away fan, as was that other cesspit across Stanley Park in '81.

Coventry City v Swansea City
