• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Happy with that. We play well, will have a chance. They'll bring plenty, should be good day.

Was hoping for an away fixture at a league 1 or 2 club. A ground i haven't visited. Southampton home is bit of a nothing fixture for me.

They whanged seven shades of shampoo out of us in the pre season didn't they. Be interesting to see if we can get any closer with gloves off.

Will need a proper defence and midfield. They'll have some pace no doubt.

Obafemi to grab the winner?

I'll get me coat.

He’s not been great for us, but no need to assume he’ll score an own goal…

Agreed, they are consistently inconsistent so if they turn out with a few players rested, our first XI will have a realistic chance. I wouldn't say we are involved at either end of the table so no reason why we shouldn't put a strong team out and give it a good go. A free hit.

You're just being silly now

Way I look at it Phil is he'll be desperate to play in that, so hopefully he'll put in a few shifts next few weeks. If RM uses his head he can dangle that thought.

They are struggling near the bottom. They'll probably play mainly 2nd string. Good chance if we want to take it.
