Definitely.

Fans would have moaned had he just gone down the tunnel no doubt. Weird lot aye.

We were more than decent today, and the fans responded in kind as well. Plenty of Russell Martins barmy army belted out. Fans were flat out behind the team today. Wonderful stuff.

Good news, I watched it here like I do every game these days, enjoyable win in the end, some very good performances to.

More of the same we need now.

Why does Russ and the backroom staff celebrating a win, leave a sour taste?

Fuckinghell.

It's about reading the room for me.

But as I said a win is a win.

F*ck the room, he read the East stand, and was fully in tune with it.

Celebrate a win like its the last

We'll go down to League 1 next season unless American owners go, this same team has played shit for previous 24 games. This game was just luck and we certainly won't win a game for the rest of the season.

Tbh I just wished he'd have fckd off down the tunnel. Am happy to clap the players off, but he's gotta make it all bout him.

Apologies if I'm not wanting Russell to roll over so I can tickle his belly after a win. Third win in 2023 with the last one coming against ten man Blackpool and the other against ten man Sunderland.

It was better and three points. So happy days.

Thought we were very good today in fairness. Walsh had a great game and so did Ntcham. Might have got a bit lucky with the potential Cabango handball but we absolutely deserved the win overall. Happy for the defence to get a clean sheet as well after what feels like ages, and we probably only need a point or two more for safety. Be nice to finish the season with a few more wins too, our remaining fixtures aren’t too bad.

Righteyo.

I hear you but it does make him look a bit of a bellend, especially as he’s the first one down the tunnel when we lose, which is often. The players follow him too. It’s okay to milk it a bit but when you turn out to see the shite our lot serve up on a regular basis he should be coming over to the fans every time, win, lose or draw, or on the other hand don’t bother coming at all. He just needs to man up.

When we were sweeping League One under Roberto, we had annoying voices bleating that De Vries wasn't good enough for League 1 and that Gower didn't score enough goals.

When we were secure in the PL, we had fans moaning DeGuzman wasn't good enough, Cork was crap, etc.

I thought those were the most annoying fans ever, but people expecting all the Martin doubters to be blown away by a single win while being wretched for months are running them close.

Another nonsense post. Nobody has asked for anyone to be swept away. Just to give dues where it is due following a win over our second closest team in the league. As I keep repeating, let’s not be churlish and just celebrate a good performance and win without the, but, but, but. And that’s from someone who has zero time for Martin.

Great and much needed result against a poor and depleted Bristol City side. Both performances this week have been an improvement let's see if we put some consistency together from here.

No chance.

You can’t have two seasons at a club and then suddenly turn things around. Martin has been the same since he’s been here - lose a few, win a few, only now the gaps between the wins is bigger. Nothing is going to change because whenever we get a win it reinforces his belief that he was right about everything all along, when in reality he’s got it the wrong way around and he is the single biggest reason we’re rubbish and lose so many.
