Another nonsense post. Nobody has asked for anyone to be swept away. Just to give dues where it is due following a win over our second closest team in the league. As I keep repeating, let’s not be churlish and just celebrate a good performance and win without the, but, but, but. And that’s from someone who has zero time for Martin.

After the dour sh1te we've had for most of the year, I thoroughly enjoyed that game.
Wouldn't have mattered who that performance came against. Being the wurzels just makes it that much sweeter.

Did what I said, cheered the team, sang my heart out for the lads and didn't sing Martins name. He can gofukspiders as far as I'm concerned.
Gave up with that a long time ago. defended him against many on here until a year ago February, when he still used the "no pre-season" comment in an interview
Hopefully we have another couple of wins in us, so we stay up. Give the new bloke a chance.
2 seasons in and we are getting worse.
Martin was a defender, we have a defensive coach, yet we normally can't defend against anyone. That shows bad coaching.
Until recently, we had "can't beat the 1st man" Grimes taking set pieces. Yet we have a set piece coach teaching... set pieces.
We must have the worst record of scoring from a set piece in any division. We often look like we're a mm or 2 away from a foul throw in.

I still doubt if Martin will be sacked unless we enter a relegation battle. But, he still needs to be fukedoffsharpish at the end of the season.

A good team is better than the sum of its parts. Several managers over the years have lifted us to loftier heights than we could have dreamed of by having the knack to put a team together and get the best out of it. Martin doesn’t appear to have that knack and as far as defending is concerned he never will as long as he insists on the three worst footballers in the team having most of the ball. You have to play to your strengths and Martin simply doesn’t. Beats me how anyone can criticise Piroe for being offside or not scoring when we do nothing to get the ball to him when he’s in any kind of position to do any damage.
