Lucy Cohen on Wales today called Reynolds the la la land actor

Can't they get anything right

Huw can lay claim to being the greatest ever actor to try and run a club.

If it goes ahead depends on whether they have full control, who they get to run it and whether they shaft the supporters trust if they have control and sell on.

Going to be a 100% buy out apparently. Would love to see their supporters trust retain some sort of percentage but not sure how they can reject a £2m investment in the club with everything that's going on. Guess it depends on what the actual terms are

Exactly. The risk for the trust is if they get bored/do well and are offered a profit in their investment and sell without really caring who they sell to.

Whether they end up completing the deal or not, this publicity has been massive for the club. Apparently they've had loads of shirt orders from abroad already, much needed extra cash in the current financial climate

A vanity project is always preferable to an outfit in it for the sole purpose of making a profit. But still as mentioned above comes with the danger of the owner becoming bored with his new toy. These were the kinds of guys they were probably after with A Jack to a King. They weren't forthcoming, but their greed made them carry on regardless.

That's all we need.

I can understand why Rob McElheny might not be known to most (seriously though, watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's great) but it's a bit odd that people seem somehow proud of not knowing who Ryan Reynolds is. Either that or they're lying.

If he'd acted in highly acclaimed films I'd get your point. However he's most known for acting a superhero. There's so much decent stuff on Netflix that I don't have to resort to watching men in lycra. Sorry if my ignorance offends you.

If he'd only ever appeared in Superhero movies you might have a point.

He hasn't. You don't.

But he is best known for Deadpool. Whether Deadpool is strictly speaking a “superhero” is another debate entirely.

I didn't. You don't.

Which of his other, only to be missed by fools, career highlights do you suggest I watch to enlighten myself about this great actor of our time. Detective Pikachu perhaps?

My question is this, why Wrexham?
Of all the clubs them famous rich actors could have chosen, they chose a non league club in north Wales. What’s the catch?
