True. But take rumours what you will but it's said his backroom staff has been chosen for rest of season. I think it tells us more that they want him to concentrate on the season and maybe not in plans after. Maybe reading too deep into it?

I'd like the guy in charge of the first team between now and the end of the season to be in attendance of the forum.

Surely there are questions that need answering that these guys have no knowledge on given they are newly appointed! Will those questions be passed onto the head of commercial department
You got to feel sorry for these 2 guys taking this forum and they can only really talk about going forward.

I just don't see how it will benefit Sheehan being on the panel. I mean, it not gonna be blood and guts like we all wanted earlier in the year, but what really could we benefit from him being there if, he is only in the position for the remainder of the season. I appreciate opinions differ, but if he was permanently in the role then yes.

I mean unless you bring in backroom staff and Coleman and few board members it's gonna be all about future. Can't blame them for that. No defending them but stating, unless Coleman appears which he isn't, it's not really their fault.

He is currently in charge of the first team, why wouldn't t he be there?

We all presume he is auditioning for role, but that boat might of sailed. If he does get it then your right. I think it's clear what style we are playing and plans for now till end. I understand your point, but I don't see how a room of people who will be angry at things is gonna help him and the team. We have Derby 2 days later, and all attention needs to be getting a result.

So the forum will largely consist of any question on the playing side being answered by ‘that’s a question for the head coach’, any question on the January window being answered by ‘that will all change, it wasn’t us’, any question on future manager being answered by ‘that’s not our decision’.

Should be very valuable.

So you think it's ok for current manager of the first team not to attend a fans football forum?

Should be someone there who can be judged as accountable what happened in the transfer window. You can't tell me that there is no one there who can't be held accountable that has the guts to face up to the questions.

Again, it's another head scratcher and not good enough to add to the list.
