Curtis scored three in 5 minutes versus Crewe at the Vetch. As Max Boyce said, I know cos i was there ! We won 5-0

I had that in my mind as I was reading this thread and was considering posting it but as it was so long ago, I'd convinced myself it might not have been true! Thanks for confirming 😁😁😁

By the way, weren't they all very late in the game, like last 6 or 7 minutes or is that bit a figment of my imagination?

Steve Thornber - 1992 - 10 minute hatrick against West Brom for the swans to win 3-2. Away game I think, 2 nil down and I think Thornber came on as sub. Old third devision. West Brom we’re third in the league at the time.

Just checked and Thornber came on at 76 mins. Scored his first 5 mins later.

Wasn’t there but remember the radio commentary.

I was at that game. WBA scored both their goals in the first 10 minutes, both by former Spurs midfielder, Graham Roberts, iirc and it stayed like that until Thornber came on for the last 15. Extraordinary game.

In the early 2000’s Swansea played a Welsh cup game at the Vetch against Cwmbran.
Julian Alsop scored 3 in a 4 minutes, I think 2 ftom crosses from Richie Appleby. I seem to remember reading in EP that that was the fastest ever Swans Hatrick , so found this link, which says the same.

Years later Alsop scored 3 in just over a minute for non league Tamworth.

Geoff Crudgington was in goals for Crewe. Still one of my favorite Swans players ever.

I remember standing halfway up the North Bank roughly in line with the East Bank penalty area, game drifting towards a satisfactory 2-0 win, when Curtis turned on the magic.
