• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

My father loved this one.

As a kid I liked Money, Money, Money, but there are so many great songs to choose from it depends on my mood. At the moment, I’d go for The Day Before You Came. It’s a bit left field, but it’s one of the ones we don’t hear too often.

I know they are/were great songwriters and performers, but there's something about them that always left me unmoved. I just can't warm to them, and it's not just because that's not my kind of music. It's probably appropriate that they are now raking in the cash in 'live' shows featuring avatars.

My favourite is one of their lesser known ones - My Love, My Life’.

Although it’s in Mamma Mia so is better known now.

Clasie is right though - could list dozens of their songs and none of them is bad.

Met Benny and Bjorn years ago. Lovely people.

I used to quite like them but most of their songs were so overplayed and still are, they ended up driving me nuts, just like all the songs we're on the brink of being subjected to for the next 6 weeks which will make me reluctant to go within 200 yards of any supermarket 🤮

Stayed in a lovely boutique hotel in Stockholm for 5 nights a few years ago. We discovered as we were leaving that it was owned by Benny from ABBA. There was nothing at all in the hotel to suggest that he was in any way involved which we found interesting.

Had to search that one out on YT, never heard that one before. Nice though😁👍
