Favourite lager

Brooklyn, Budvar, any Dunkel/dark lager especially Modela Negra. Bedelle in Ethiopia (mother's milk)

Moretti is nice.

I was going to have my ashes scattered on the brewery steps in Lueven but since they have ruined Stella im reconsidering. Anything brewed by Coors is abysmal have you tried that new stuff Madri? Morreti is brewed by Heinekin which hasnt had a mention but is a good pint these days.

Anyway i hate Peroni but love the stronger one so was suprised one day having lunch in Prezzo Mumbles the only draught was Peroni i was amazed it is excellent apparently they messed up install originally and installed some add on try it bit pricey though.

Special mention for bottled La Chouffe and Karmeliet, but be careful. Very careful.

Dicky of all people I'm shocked that it is you asking for people's "favourite lager"

Old school Stella
Peroni
Moretti
Staropramen
Kronenbourg
San Miguel Premium

and there's probably a couple more if I thought about it. Sheesh.

Staropramen, only found this the other week on a short break away, goes down well. just like Alli.

Stella was 5.3%, then 5 them 4.8 now 4.6

Birra moretti winning nowadays

Guinness, especially in Ireland.
If no Guinness available like a local or guest ale.
Failing that then a decent cider.
If only Lager available then a decent red wine ( except when in Belgium or Germany- like their lager)

Tried all of them this year been on a mission beerhawk and the like been here more than the postie. As ive said above La Chouffe was to my taste exceptionally good. Karmielat (Tesco 750ml £5)is nice and im going to mention the St Pierre in Aldis if you want a slightly cheaper decent brew.

Duvel on offer in Sainsburies £2 but it tastes like a strong beer after a few unlike above. Funny thing is you get drunk on these Belgium brews and ive never had a hangover to speak off.

Funny enough I have found it in Majestic Wines Fforestfach it sells out everytime as we all get the nod and buy it. £3 but it is double strength more or less.
