I remember a guy in the Baglan Social Club buying a pickled egg and asking for it to be heated up in the microwave.
When he bit into it it exploded all over his face burning him.

Generally agree with the 'No snacks, I'm British' mindset, but it was difficult to say no to a pack of flame grilled steak McCoys back in the day (I'm a man of finer tastes...)

Salted peanuts are moreish because of the salt, love a bag whilst having a few beers, had some last night with a few bottles of light ale whilst watching the Boxing lovely, then had a Jalfrezi so had to drink more then to cool the heat in my mouth
