• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Any recommendations based on personal experience for a financial advisor?
I remember that there was a discussion on here a while ago but can’t find it now. I’m thinking of moving away from the place I’m with now due to the sale of the business to another company and there’s a thought they may be selling on again. 🙄
Cheers.

depending what you want but one of my good friends and chair of the running club I attend is a director of this firm

https://www.cbkwales.co.uk/about

His contact details will be on the site and happy for you to say I passed his details on.

The thing with such recommendations is that it's a long-term relationship.

A good friend raved about his FA, but ten years down the line he practically wanted the bloke dead.

Took my Pension out of TATA in 2017 , at that time it was a minefield looking for a reliable FA .
It was a well documented fact that a lot of Organisations were at that time , hell bent on getting investors cash by whatever means , even dirty tricks .

I believe the Industry has now tried to clear up its own act and weeded out the rogues . Took me nearly a year to find a firm I was happy with , some colleagues were not so lucky .

Background checks and due diligence checks are a must , if not fully happy with a prospective FA plan , walk away .
