ANd for those who do not want to believe the facts of the situation.

The Trust were first informed of the deal when Huw Jenkins and Dineen told myself, Stuart McDonald and Huw Cooze about the possibility. This took place in his office at the Liberty and was a meeting arranged at the request of Jenkins.

Within 48 hours of that meeting an official letter was sent from the Trust informing all the (then) current shareholders that we could be interested in selling if the terms were correct and it was beneficial to the club and Trust.

So its probably for the best that those who say "the Trust say they would never sell" forget trotting out that line as it was conveniently used by the sellers from time to time and has long since been stated it was not true.

The correspondence in question was provided to the QC and the Trusts legal team and formed part of my witness statement

It would have been lovely if Patsies such as Wathan, Vincent and DaiSport had been a keen to report these facts as they had in their many articles, wouldn't it?

I've corrected that Resloven on the other forum many times regarding this. Just because the trust at one point stated they did not want to sell, It certainly does not mean that they wouldn't want to sell under other circumstances. It's a meek weak cop out excusing the yanks/sellouts behaviour in excluding the trust (whom had a QC endorsed strong case which I presume was partially built on the exclusion).

Pretty much your comment about a "weak cop out"

The comment comes from two key things

1. A statement made (I think by Huw C) that we did not want to sell in relation to the Moores and Noell deal
2. A belief from MM that a legal adviser to the Trust (who was not the legal adviser but a legal professional with no connection to the board other than he was a member) telling MM one day that the Trust shouldnt sell

The rest has become folklore. And frankly rubbish folklore at that!
